Clouston talks changing junior hockey landscape, potential for USHL-CHL merger

KAMLOOPS — The prospect of the U.S. Hockey League becoming the fourth member of the Canadian Hockey League was the subject of an article that appeared on Thursday in Le Journal de Québec, a French-language daily newspaper.

Article author Kevin Dubé noted CHL, USHL, Hockey Canada, USA Hockey and NHL executives discussed the idea of a merger at a meeting last week in New York.

Kamloops Blazers’ head coach Shaun Clouston shared a few thoughts on the issue with CFJC Today on Thursday.
