KAMLOOPS — Bad to the Bone rockers George Thorogood & The Destroyers have announced a 21-date North American tour that includes a stop in Kamloops next spring.

The ‘Baddest Show on Earth Tour’ will be coming to the Sandman Centre on March 17, 2026, with tickets set to go on sale through Ticketmaster at 10:00 a.m. this Friday (Nov. 7).

“When we decided to call this tour the ‘Baddest Show On Earth’, we had no doubt we could back it up night after night,” Thorogood said in a statement.

“We’re playing great venues in some of our favorite markets, and it’s guaranteed we can make you feel like a teenager again. Time to get on the bus, hit the highway and bring the rock party to the people for 2026.”

The tour is scheduled to kick off on March 6 in Highland, California, with the first six shows in the United States. The Canadian leg gets underway with a pair of shows in Coquitlam on March 14 and 15 before it makes its way to Kamloops.

Other Canadian stops include Enoch near Edmonton on March 19, Calgary on March 20, Regina on March 22, and Winnipeg on March 24 before the band returns to the U.S. for five shows.

The tour then returns to Canadian soil for the final three shows in Ontario – Hamilton on April 2, Rama on April 3 and Ottawa on April 4.

Since 1976, George Thorogood & The Destroyers have sold over 15 million albums and they’ve played more than 8,000 live shows. They’ve also built a catalog of hits that includes Get A Haircut, I Drink Alone, One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer, and Move It On Over.

“We play for a different audience every night and that keeps it fresh,” George added. “There are people who’ve never seen us before and we have to impress them. There are fans that keep coming back, and we want to surprise them.”

Formed in 1972, George Thorogood & The Destroyers celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2022. The band has performed in Kamloops on at least four previous occasions, most recently in 2018 during the ‘Rock Party Tour.’
