BC Hydro responding to second power outage in Upper Sahali in as many days

KAMLOOPS — Call it a case of déjà vu for a number of BC Hydro customers in Kamloops as they’re without power for the second time in 24 hours.

BC Hydro has a crew on its way to respond to the outage in Upper Sahali, which is affecting 2,530 customers on the first evening after the end of daylight saving time.

The outage was reported around 5:27 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 2) and a crew is expected to be on scene by 6:50 p.m. There is no estimated time when power may be restored.

A number of the same residents were without power for about four-and-a-half hours Saturday night during the middle of Game 7 of the World Series. Power was knocked off around 6:00 p.m. and it was all restored by 10:30 p.m.
