Mustard Seed preparing to serve annual Thanksgiving meal in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS — The Mustard Seed will be serving a Thanksgiving dinner in Kamloops on Monday (Oct. 13) next week.
It says the dinner will be served across its West-End Shelter, Harbour House and Men’s Recovery Program as a way to bring “warmth and connection to guests and staff alike.”
“Thanksgiving at The Mustard Seed is a celebration of community care,” Laura Giesbrecht, the Mustard Seed’s Senior Director Food Services, said. “It’s a reminder that hope grows when we come together.”
The Christian non-profit organization says it is able to offer Thanksgiving dinner because of the kindness of Kamloops-area residents who help with donations of food, money and essential items.
