RIH Foundation pleased with recruitment and fundraising in latest annual report
KAMLOOPS – Recently, the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation released its 2024-25 annual report, which highlights the funds raised by the organization, community stories and recruitment efforts. The foundation distributed $7.5-million in projects while also welcoming hundreds of new staff members.
“The Royal Inland Hospital administration has done an amazing job recruiting nurses and allied health professionals to Kamloops. We know nurses have taken on new lines and some of the floors are fully staffed,” said RIH Foundation CEO Heidi Coleman. “Where the foundation can help would be by providing scholarships or conferences that they need to go to. We’re happy to help. That really does help attract health professionals and the foundation is there to support these teams of people.”
Other numbers highlighted in the report included the five Royal Inland Hospital housing units donated to the foundation and 64 medical professionals housed during the year.
