Dunstone, Pincott reflect on championship finals at PointsBet Invitational

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops curlers featured prominently in nationally televised championship finals at the PointsBet Invitational on Sunday [Oct. 5] in Calgary.

Matt Dunstone and his Winnipeg-based team won gold, earning a 6-3 win over Brad Jacobs of Calgary in a rematch of the 2025 Brier final in Kelowna.

Team Brown of the Kamloops Curling Club came up short in the women’s final, falling 6-2 to World No. 1 Rachel Homan and her Ottawa rink.

Brown third Erin Pincott and Dunstone are a curling couple.

They spoke to CFJC on Monday morning.
