Longtime Prince George librarian takes over as head of Thompson-Nicola Regional Library
KAMLOOPS — A woman with more than 20 years of experience in leadership roles will head the Thompson-Nicola Regional Library (TNRL).
The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) announced Julie Creaser has taken over as the TNRL’s general manager of library services as of Oct. 1, 2025.
Creaser has spent time as the regional manager of library services for Northern Health. The TNRD says she has also spent time with Prince George Public Library and Vancouver Island Regional Library.
“I’m honoured to join the Thompson-Nicola Regional Library and excited to work with such a dedicated team who’ve built vital spaces for literacy, connection and growth,” Creaser stated in a news release issued Wednesday. “I look forward to collaborating on strengthening the role of the library in community life while ensuring services remain inclusive, welcoming and responsive to the needs of our TNRD communities.”
