Kamloops woman responsible for botched cosmetic procedures pleads guilty to fraud, assault

KAMLOOPS — A woman who performed botched cosmetic procedures out of her Kamloops North Shore home has pleaded guilty to a pair of criminal charges.
The case came to the attention of Kamloops RCMP in August 2022. At the time, a local clinic said it had been inundated with calls from the woman’s clients who were unhappy with how their procedures turned out.
Police arrested Jessica Earthy and charged her with fraud and assault, issuing a plea for more victims to come forward.
On Monday (Sept. 29), more than two years after the arrest, Earthy pleaded guilty to one count of fraud and one count of assault causing bodily harm against four people.
