TRU WolfPack drop pair of road games

KAMLOOPS — The TRU WolfPack soccer teams dropped a pair of Canada West games on Saturday around the province.

The men’s squad was in Victoria battling the the 8th ranked team in Canada, the UVIC Vikes.

The home side got a pair of first half goals on-route to a 2-0 win. TRU now sits a 1-10-1 on the campaign. The Pack have a bye week before returning to Hillside Stadium on October 10 to host the UBC Okanagan Heat.

Meanwhile, the women were in the Fraser Valley facing the Cascades.

Despite outshooting UFV 12-3, the Pack came up on the wrong end of a 1-0 final. Sitting a 5-5 on the season, the WolfPack current occupy the third spot in the Canada West Pacific Division with 15 points.
