UPDATE (Monday, Sept. 29): The high streamflow for the North and South Thompson regions has ended.
EARLIER: KAMLOOPS — A high streamflow advisory is in place for the North and South Thompson regions.
In a post Friday (Sept. 26), the BC River Forecast Centre issued a high streamflow advisory for tributary rivers around Blue River, Clearwater, Adams and Seymour Rivers and surrounding areas.
The forecast centre notes that no major flooding is expected but rivers in the North and South Thompson may experience a rapid increase in flows, particularly in smaller watersheds and streams.
