Salmon Arm RCMP looking for stolen pickup truck believed to have been spray painted grey

SALMON ARM, B.C. — RCMP in Salmon Arm are on the lookout for a pickup truck that was stolen from a local auto repair business.

On Aug. 31, RCMP were told that a gated compound on the Trans Canada Highway in Salmon Arm had been compromised, and a red 2008 Toyota Tundra was stolen from the site.

RCMP say they then received a report of a Tundra driving erratically in the Skimikin Lake area on Sept. 2, although police didn’t find a matching vehicle after.

In a news release issued Wednesday (Sept. 10), police say they believe the Tundra may have been spray painted grey.
