The annual event runs from Aug. 30 until Sept. 1, and Tanya Wong, the North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo Association’s Treasurer says there is something for everyone.

“This event definitely brings the whole North Thompson valley together,” Wong said on CFJC Midday. “Between people that sponsor, the folks that put in time and volunteer or the kids that are participating and the folks that enter all of their lovely work.”

Wong says the Fall Fair and Rodeo includes the BCRA POLARIS Championship Finals Rodeo

“It’s where the top 10 in the BCRA circuit come to compete so its a very good show,” she said.

There will also be livestock shows & 4-H competitions, live music and stage performances through the weekend. There will also be local food vendors and market booths as well as a parade and kids’ zone activities.

“We have over 40 vendors and concessions,” Wong said, noting there are “quite a handful” of new vendors this year. “If you haven’t been in a while, this is definitely a year to come and see what’s new and what’s happening.”
