Hurlbert dazzles on Day 1 of Blazers’ training camp, aims to establish chemistry with Lafreniere

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers have separated their training camp roster into four teams, naming them after recent graduates Logan Stankoven, Connor Zary, Dylan Garand and Fraser Minten.

Practices and games are scheduled to run from Friday (Aug. 29) to Monday morning, when camp breaks, cuts are made and the club begins preparations for the pre-season opener against the Vancouver Giants on Wednesday at Sandman Centre.

CFJC Today dropped by the rink on Monday morning, speaking to J.P. Hurlbert, Tommy Lafreniere, Andrew Thomson, Madden Tymchak and Asher Gingras.
