Kamloops man’s $5M jackpot the largest ever for a Scratch & Win in BC

KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops man has walked away with the largest-ever Scratch & Win prize in B.C. history.

BC Lottery Corporation (BCLC) says Toni Matic bought a $50 Extreme Scratch & Win ticket from the 7-Eleven convenience store on Summit Drive in Sahali.

When he scratched it, he revealed the top prize of $5 million.

According to a BCLC news release, Matic’s reaction was, “Are those numbers really that big?”
