NorthPaws blow out Lefties 21-8 to wrap up 2025 West Coast League season
KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops NorthPaws ended the 2025 West Coast League (WCL) season on a high note.
After splitting the first two games of their final series, a 2-1 win on Monday and a 15-11 loss on Tuesday, the NorthPaws blew out the Port Angeles Lefties at Norbrock Stadium Wednesday (Aug. 6) night 21-8.
The NorthPaws put up two seven-run innings in the win, topped off with a grand slam by Kamloops’ Manny Recchi in the bottom of the eighth inning.
The NorthPaws have missed the WCL postseason for the third consecutive year, finishing six games back of the Wenatchee AppleSox for the fourth and final playoff spot. After a promising first half with a 14-13 record, the NorthPaws had a disappointing 11-16 record in the second half.
