September 16, 1951 – July 25, 2025

George unexpectedly passed away at Royal Inland Hospital on July 25, 2025. He was born in Winnipeg, MB September 16, 1951 to the late Margaret and Gerhard Pankratz.

George was the middle child of 7 children, his siblings: the late Gertrude, Gunter (Jean), Hank (Janice), the late Butch (Kelly), Betty (Doug) and Peter (Lorna).

He leaves behind his wife Susanne who he loved fiercely, leaving his daughter Nicole (Henry), his sons Conrad (Tammy), Jarvis and his grandchildren.

His absence will be deeply felt by many of those lucky enough to have known him especially his sharp wit and very rich sense of humor.

There will be no service. Instead, we will gather to spread his ashes in the great outdoors. For the great man that he was, he will forever be remembered.
