October 13, 1975 — July 7, 2025
It is with great shock and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jason Paul Chipperfield on July 7th, 2025 in Kamloops, BC from an undiagnosed heart condition.
Born October 13th, 1975 in Kamloops, Jason was the son of Jowana (Jo) Chipperfield of Kamloops and Martin H.J. Chipperfield of NSW, Australia, brother to Eric K. Chipperfield and uncle to Shannon, Hazel and Zachary Chipperfield, all of Kamloops, BC.
Also left to mourn are his three uncles, Mark P. Palmatary (Sandy), Gary S. Palmatary (Nancy) and K. Kim Palmatary (Kim) and families, all of the lower mainland and his aunt Sandy Day (Alex) of Spain.
Jason started kindergarten at Aberdeen Elementary in Kamloops the year that school was built. Three years later, the family moved to Australia and Jason did his next seven years of schooling in Sydney and then Brisbane, then returning to Kamloops with a strong Aussie accent for his final two years of high school.
After graduation, Jason worked in Vancouver as a plumbing draughtsman with two different engineering companies for a number of years, then switched to construction which he enjoyed, being outdoors and travelling throughout BC.
Jason was very artistic. He enjoyed his air brush painting system and any kind of electronics were in his wheelhouse. More recently, Jason had taken up cooking, making bread and his wonderful fruit cheesecakes that were enjoyed by family members for birthdays or just because!
Jason was also blessed with a quick wit and cheeky sense of humour.
Jason had recently returned to the Kamloops area from the lower mainland and it was wonderful to be able to see him on a more regular basis. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by friends and family.
