April 14, 1949 – March 7, 2025 

Jo-Ann passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2025. She was born in Vancouver, B.C., on April 14, 1949, to John and Ann Beck Née Moyes. 

Jo-Ann’s adventures took her near and far where she explored, studied, worked, and volunteered. She crisscrossed the ocean; raising her family in Canada and Australia. 

Predeceased by her husband, John Sheehan, Jo-Ann is survived by her sons Michael (Kristie), Mark (Jenny), and Jason (Tamiel), as well as her cherished grandchildren: Brooke, Cameron, Mason, Matthew, Hayley, and Ava. 

Gone ahead are her brothers Morris and Hugh, and her sister Janet. Left to mourn her passing are her sisters Cathie and Dorothy (Walt), and brothers Jim (Lanai) and Steve (Kelly), along with many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. 

Jo-Ann will make one final journey across the ocean to be laid to rest beside her husband in Australia. She is and will be missed. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Gaglardi Senior Citizens building, 174 St. Paul St., Kamloops, B.C., from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
