May 6, 1987 – June 8, 2025 

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Aaron Schulz on June 8, 2025, at the age of 38. 

Mark was a son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, and friend whose presence could light up a room and whose laughter brought comfort to many. He is survived by his loving partner Ashley Ellenor and her daughter Sophia, his father, Mark Schulz Sr.; his aunt Wanda Cole; his beloved sons, Bentley Marsh and Dominic Schulz; his sister, Stephanie Schulz-Kehler; his brother-in-law, Shelby Kehler; nieces Brooke Malberg and Hazel Kehler; nephews Levi Kehler, Tice Kehler, and Ash Kehler; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whose lives were touched by his generous spirit and big heart. 

Mark was a good guy with a kind soul — always lending a helping hand and an ear to listen. He loved to tease those he cared about, and his infectious laugh and smile could brighten even the darkest day. 

He loved working up in the bush, tinkering on vehicles, going mud bogging, and hunting with his dad. Some of his happiest times were simply spent hanging out with his nieces and nephews, who adored their fun-loving uncle. Above all, he loved his sons deeply; they were his pride and joy. 

Though his life held its share of struggles, Mark never stopped caring for others and making people feel loved. His family takes comfort in knowing he is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who went before him. 

A gathering for friends and family will be held on Saturday, July 19 at 1:00 p.m. in the
Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Dr., to honour Mark’s life and share memories together.
