KAMLOOPS — It might be the fourth day of summer, but the Kamloops Blazers already have preseason hockey on their mind as they continue to work towards the 2025-26 WHL season.

The Blazers will play five preseason games in September – three of which will be at Sandman Centre – ahead of their home opener on Sept. 20, against the Spokane Chiefs.

The Blazers will host the Vancouver Giants on Wednesday, Sept. 3, the Kelowna Rockets on Friday, Sept. 5, and the Prince George Cougars on Friday, Sept. 12. All three of those games will get underway at 7:00 p.m.

Kamloops will also play the Rockets at Prospera Place in Kelowna on Saturday, Sept. 6, at 6:05 p.m. and the Cougars at the West Fraser Centre in Quesnel on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 5:00 p.m.

It’s the second consecutive year that the Blazers and Cougars are scheduled to play a neutral-site preseason game in Quesnel, located about 400 km north of Kamloops and 121 km south of Prince George.

The Blazers say tickets for all three preseason games will go on sale soon.
