NorthPaws win high scoring series against Riverhawks

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops NorthPaws won their third series of the 2025 West Coast League (WCL) season.

The NorthPaws took two out of three high scoring games against the Edmonton Riverhawks from Norbrock Stadium over the weekend.

Kamloops scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to steal game one on Friday (June 13) 8-6. They followed it up by blowing a 6-0 lead and falling to the Riverhawks 14-8 on Saturday, but they flipped the script and came back from a 3-0 deficit to win game three on Sunday 12-6.

The NorthPaws improve to 9-6 on the 2025 WCL season. They’re third in the North Division and trail the Bellingham Bells and Wenatchee AppleSox by 2.0 games for first.

Following an off-day Monday, the NorthPaws travel to Washington State to begin a three-game series with the Walla Walla Sweets Tuesday (June 17). They’ll return home to welcome the Victoria HarbourCats to Nortbrock Stadium for a three-game series starting Friday, June 20 at 6:35 p.m.
