Amid economic uncertainty, Kamloops real estate market nudged upward in May
KAMLOOPS — Real estate activity is on the upward trend in Kamloops, but remains below its level from one year ago.
New numbers released by the Association of Interior Realtors (AIR) show 235 residential unit sales in the Kamloops area last month. The May total is up from 215 in April, but is pacing 13 per cent below May of 2024.
AIR recorded 606 new listings in May — again, up from April but 1.1 per cent below the total from May of last year.
“Although activity in the Kamloops and District region is still below historical levels, a lift in active listings and strong engagement from serious buyers and sellers are supporting sales, while prices remain stable,” said AIR president Kadin Rainville.
