Toy House campaign to collect gifts for Christmas Amalgamated begins
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops shoppers can expect to see miniature houses popping up at retail locations across the city as the B100 Toy Houses campaign kicked off Monday (Nov. 26).
The toy houses are set up in six locations around Kamloops. People are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys and gifts for youth, which will help stock the shelves at Christmas Amalgamated.
The local charity provides Christmas gifts and food donations during the holidays.
“Christmas Amalgamated does so much for our community, helping out those most needy in our community,” said B100 morning show co-host Rich Woods. “Really, these toys will go towards next year’s supply. Some of the toys from this year will go to families this year, most are going towards next year’s families. It’s so important for us to help support them.”
