It was no surprise that seniors were left out again from any new assistance in providing some quality of life for those who need support, but it might have been more surprising to learn that a critical grant providing funding for a counsellor to help support women and families expires at the end of the month. The government has given no indication that it will renew the funding, and that has left people who rely on this support worrying about what will happen now.
