Kamloops man arrested after reported stabbing in Valleyview
KAMLOOPS — One man was sent to hospital after a reported stabbing in Valleyview.
Kamloops RCMP say officers responded to the 1700-block of Trans Canada Highway East at around 10:35 p.m. Tuesday (March 4) where a man was suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds.
According to the report, the man had been in a gas station parking lot when he approached a vehicle and eventually got in a conflict. The man was then assaulted outside of a nearby restaurant.
“Thanks to the quick response and investigational efforts of the responding officers, police were able to locate the vehicle and arrest a suspect,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson states in a news release issued Thursday (March 6).
