Kamloops RCMP looking for man wanted on Canada-wide warrant

KAMLOOPS — UPDATE (March 12): RCMP say Dekelver has been located and arrested.

EARLIER: Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a 40-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

In a news release issued Thursday (March 6) morning, RCMP say Nicholas James Dekelver is unlawfully at large after reportedly failing to comply with the conditions of his statutory release order.

“It is believed that Nicholas Dekelver has remained in the Kamloops area, but he may be travelling to other locations as well,” said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson.

Dekelver is described as a white man standing 5’8” and weighing 135 lbs. He has a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of flames with a skull on his right forearm, “Script RIP – RDT” on his upper right back and a mushroom on his right shoulder.
