KAMLOOPS — RCMP are asking for help from the public after a home in Brocklehurst was ‘thoroughly ransacked’ over the weekend.
Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says officers were called to the 900-block of Stardust Street at about 5:20 a.m. on Sunday (March 2). Witnesses reported seeing a person wearing dark clothing and riding a mountain bike entering the backyard of a home in the neighbourhood.
Arriving at the scene, officers found a shed and a home had been entered and pillaged.
Speaking to witnesses, police learned a white pickup truck and three suspicious individuals had been seen in the neighbourhood just before 5:00 a.m.
