Power knocked out at Sun Rivers

KAMLOOPS — UPDATE: Bluestem Utilities says power was restored as of 12:20 p.m. Wednesday.

EARLIER: Residents in Sun Rivers are without power Wednesday (Feb. 26) morning.

In an alert, Bluestem Utilities – the utilities operator for the neighbourhood on the Tk’emlups reserve – says crews are on site working to restore power. More details will be provided when they’re available.

A cause for the outage was not provided in the alert issued shortly before 8:00 a.m.
