100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — RCMP in 100 Mile House are investigating a trio of break-ins that took place on Monday (Nov. 2).

RCMP say officers responded to a business on the 200-block of Seventh Street where it was determined that several storage lockers had been entered, and unknown items were taken.

Surveillance pictures captured a possible suspect vehicle, which is believed to be a Ford truck, between 7:43 p.m. and 9:04 p.m. the previous evening.

Elsewhere, RCMP say they received a report of a theft from a business on the 300-block of Birch Avenue where a poppy donation box with an unknown amount of money was taken sometime over the previous few days.

Finally, RCMP were told of a break-in to a property on the 7000-block of Cottage Lane where it was determined a structure had been entered, and several power tools, a compound bow and downhill skis were taken. The tools include a STIHL chainsaw, Hilti drills and Milwaukee brand tools.

Police say surveillance video captured images of a person and vehicle involved. The images were not provided in a news release issued Wednesday (Nov. 4) but police say the suspect is described as wearing a camouflage jacket, green hoodie and white gloves. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a grey Hyundai Accent.

RCMP do not say if the three break-ins are connected.

Anyone with information regarding any of the break-ins is asked to contact 100 Mile House RCMP at (250) 395-2456 or BC Crime Stoppers.
