Chris Harrison Fires Back At ‘The Bachelor’ Over Cease-And-Desist Letter
Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison is brushing off legal pressure from ABC’s dating franchise. Warner Bros. Television sent a cease-and-desist letter to Fox Nation over Harrison’s new show, The Vow, accusing it of copying The Bachelor. Harrison, 55, dismissed the move, telling Entertainment Tonight, “Sounds like somebody misses somebody really bad. Jealousy’s a tough thing. Green’s not a great color on anybody, is it?” The letter specifically cited the use of roses and a mansion resembling the Bachelor Mansion in promotional materials. Fox Nation denied replicating the show, arguing ABC owns neither roses nor the term “bachelor.” Co-created with his wife Lauren Zima, The Vow features 10 women competing for one man, with a faith-based focus. The show premieres on Fox Nation November 11th.
