New ‘Alien’ Film In Development, Linked To ‘Prometheus’ & ‘Alien: Covenant’

A new Alien movie is in development at 20th Century Studios, with Raised by Wolves creator Aaron Guzikowski set to write the script. The project will be produced under Ridley Scott. The film is not connected to Alien: Romulus or the upcoming Alien: Earth Season 2. Sources indicate the new project ties directly to Prometheus and Alien: Covenant, with Michael Fassbender’s rogue android David serving as the linking thread. Fassbender has not yet signed on. Scott previously told the L.A. Times he wants to make a third and final Alien prequel centered on David creating “a brave new world for himself.” Guzikowski also wrote the acclaimed thriller Prisoners. Story URL
