Luck successful in re-election bid in Fraser-Nicola
MERRITT, B.C. — The incumbent MLA for Fraser-Nicola will serve a second term in Victoria.
BC Conservative candidate Tony Luck was successful in his re-election bid during Saturday’s (Oct. 24) provincial election.
With 76 of 79 ballot boxes reporting, Luck has 9,487 votes — about 59 per cent. In second is BC NDP candidate Jason Leboe with 4,547 votes (28 per cent) and BC Greens candidate Patrick Michell with 2,114 (13 per cent).
The former Merritt city councillor was first elected to the legislature as a BC Conservative during the 2024 provincial election. He was named the Conservative candidate for Fraser-Nicola ahead of the collapse of the BC United party, formerly known as the BC Liberals.
