Hulu Sets Drama Series ‘Durango’ With Cooper Hoffman, Kathryn Newton

Hulu has greenlit a new drama series called Durango, starring Cooper Hoffman and Kathryn Newton as a young couple “riding an avalanche of bad decisions.” Newton plays Bunny, a homeschooled runaway working as a waitress, while Hoffman plays Mikey, a ski bum chasing a buzz. The two fall in love while fleeing cops, criminals, and Mikey’s Russian wife. Emmy winner Merritt Wever and Mason Gooding will play local detectives, while Abbey Lee portrays Mikey’s wife, Irina. The series was created by Eliza Clark, who will also serve as showrunner. The Bear creator Chris Storer is among the executive producers.
