KAMLOOPS — The benchmark price for a single-family home in Kamloops dropped for a third straight month in September, according to new numbers released by a real estate industry body.

The Association of Interior Realtors (AIR) says a typical single-family home saw a sale price of $659,100 last month, down about $25,000 from the summer months.

In a news release issued Monday (Oct. 5), AIR says 189 homes changed hands in September, a significant slowdown from 217 in August and 222 in September 2025. Four-hundred-forty-six properties were newly put up for sale.

“September brought a slight pullback in sales activity for the Kamloops and District region, but not a significant swing in market conditions,” said AIR president Ryan Mayne. “Some month-to-month movement is expected as markets naturally ebb and flow. While inventory continues to remain relatively low, conditions are still balanced overall.”
