Halle Berry Accused Of Child Abuse As Ex Seeks Restraining Order

Olivier Martinez has filed for a temporary restraining order against ex-wife Halle Berry, accusing her of abusing their 12-year-old son Maceo. Martinez alleges Berry “jumped on him, put her hands around his neck, and choked him” on September 26th. He is also seeking sole custody. Berry’s attorney Marina Beck called the filing “entirely meritless and deliberately misleading,” citing Martinez’s “well-documented history of erratic, possessive and violent behavior.” Martinez also alleged Berry made racially-charged comments to their son regarding child support disputes. Berry texted Martinez apologizing after that incident. Martinez stated he believes Maceo “may be traumatized” and does not want to visit Berry’s home. Berry and Martinez divorced in 2015.
