Bradley Cooper Set To Play Duke In Danny McBride’s ‘G.I. Joe’ Reboot

Bradley Cooper is heading to Paramount’s G.I. Joe reboot, taking on the role of field commander Duke. Danny McBride directs and co-wrote the screenplay. Plot details and additional casting remain undisclosed, though Paramount promises a fresh take on the classic Hasbro franchise. Notably, the film has been officially “uncoupled” from the Transformers universe, despite a crossover teased in 2023’s Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. Cooper, a 12-time Oscar nominee, is currently directing and starring in an Ocean’s 11 prequel alongside Margot Robbie and Monica Barbaro. G.I. Joe marks McBride’s first major action tentpole.
