Community invited to mark National Day for Truth and Reconciliation at Tk’emlups Powwow Arbour

TK’EMLUPS — Tk’emlups te Secwepemc leaders are inviting the entire community to the Powwow Arbour Wednesday (Sept. 30) for events marking National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The events are scheduled to get underway at 11:00 a.m. with an opening prayer and orange shirt walk.

Other activities include a reading of residential school survivors’ names, cultural workshops, hoop dancing and musical performances.

Food vendors and a marketplace will also be set up.
