‘Breaking Bad’ Tops ‘New York Times’ Best TV Shows Of The Century

The New York Times has released its ranking of the 100 best television shows of the 21st century. More than 500 actors, showrunners, critics, and industry professionals contributed to the list. “Breaking Bad” claimed the top spot, followed by “The Wire” at No. 2 and “Mad Men” at No. 3. “Succession” and “Fleabag” rounded out the top five. “Game of Thrones,” “Veep,” “30 Rock,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” and “Atlanta” completed the top ten. Fans of “The Office” may be surprised to find the American version ranked No. 11, just ahead of the British original starring Ricky Gervais at No. 16.
