VANCOUVER — CFJC-TV has emerged a winner in the annual Radio Television Digital News Association-West Region awards.
Award winners were revealed at a gala event in Vancouver on Wednesday (Sept. 25).
A story produced by reporter Marty Hastings and videojournalist Anthony Corea detailing how a Kamloops cancer patient received a bicycle donated by a 98.3 CIFM listener was named the winner in the Feature News category for small and medium markets.
The win means CFJC will compete in the same category at the national level. The awards will be handed out at a gala in Toronto in November.
