Hundreds drawn to Riverside Park for annual Terry Fox Run

KAMLOOPS — Organizers of the annual Terry Fox Run are still tallying the totals, but say they are well on their way to reaching their $100,000 goal.

More than 700 people participated in the 46th run Sunday (Sept. 20), helping raise critical funds for cancer research.

Run organizer Sue Steenson says as of Monday afternoon, organizers had counted $65,000 in donations – just ahead of the post-race total in 2025.

Steenson says donations are still coming in and t-shirt sales totals have yet to be tallied. A final total is expected in a few weeks’ time.
