Pair of stolen vehicles spotted on fire in Kamloops; RCMP investigating

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are investigating a pair of suspicious vehicle fires that took place overnight. 

At around 2:50 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 12), Kamloops Fire Rescue (KFR) responded to Dalhousie Drive and McGill Road in Lower Sahali to extinguish a vehicle fire. 

Nearly an hour later, shortly after 4:00 a.m., KFR responded to a stretch of Crestline Street in Brocklehurst for a separate vehicle fire. 

Cpl. Justin Mosher, Kamloops RCMP acting watch commander, told CFJC Today both vehicles were determined to have been stolen. No injuries were reported, and there is no risk to the public.
