WolfPack soccer teams remain unbeaten after pair of wins in Kelowna
KELOWNA — The perfect start to the 2026 Canada West season continues for the Thompson Rivers University (TRU) WolfPack soccer program.
The WolfPack men’s soccer team set a new program record with their fourth straight victory on Sunday (Sept. 6). TRU shut out the University of British Columbia (UBC) Okanagan Heat 2-0 in Kelowna.
Fourth-year striker Kaelin Nguyen scored his third goal of the season six minutes in to give the WolfPack the early lead. Third-year midfielder Rory Clements scored his first goal with TRU, adding the insurance marker, 10 minutes later. Second-year goalkeeper only needed to make one save for his third clean sheet of the season.
With four wins, no losses and no draws in four matches, the WolfPack men’s soccer team is tied with the UBC Thunderbirds for first in the Canada West Pacific Conference standings.
