Gary Oldman claims the search for the next James Bond is over. Speaking on Canada’s The Morning Show, Oldman said producers have made their decision but haven’t announced it yet. He’s hoping the role goes to his Slow Horses co-star Jack Lowden. “They have picked him. They have made their choice, but they have not announced it yet. So my fingers are crossed for Jack,” Oldman said. Lowden has been among several reported frontrunners, alongside Callum Turner, Jacob Elordi, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Harris Dickinson. Denis Villeneuve will direct the next Bond film, written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight. Amazon MGM has declined to comment on casting.
