Salmon Arm open house to cover wildfire resiliency, airport industrial development
SALMON ARM, B.C. — Residents in Salmon Arm are being asked to help shape the city’s priorities for three projects.
The City of Salmon Arm is hosting an open house from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, from Little Mountain Fieldhouse at 250 30 St. SE.
Topics include the city’s community wildfire resiliency plan, liquid waste management plan and airport industrial networking servicing plan.
In a social media post, the city says approximately 60 hectares of land has been identified for long-term light industrial growth. The networking plan for the Airport Industrial Special Development Area looks at how active transportation, drainage, roads, water, and wastewater could support development of the area over time.
