Paramount+ has officially confirmed Tom Hardy will return for season three of MobLand, ending months of speculation about his future on the show. Hardy reprises his role as Harry da Souza, fixer for an Irish crime family led by Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren. Earlier this year, reports claimed Hardy had been fired following a behind-the-scenes dispute involving screenwriter Jez Butterworth and producer David Glasser. Accusations centered on Hardy’s on-set behavior, Butterworth’s unavailability, and Glasser’s hard-line stance with actors. Director Guy Ritchie and Glasser ultimately pushed for Hardy’s return. Meanwhile, season two launches September 18, with weekly episodes. The new season follows the Harrigan family struggling to maintain unity as rival threats emerge. Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, and Anson Boon also appear.
