TFC acquires Scottish forward Lewis Morgan in trade with San Diego
TORONTO — Toronto FC has acquired forward Lewis Morgan from San Diego FC in exchange for a 2026 international roster slot, the Major League Soccer club announced Wednesday.
Morgan, 29, will join the club pending the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate, work permit, and medical clearance.
He has played seven MLS seasons with Inter Miami, Red Bull New York, and San Diego.
Morgan recorded three assists in 18 appearances for San Diego this season.
