Kamloops Fire Rescue battling notable interface fire in Valleyview

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue (KFR) is responding to a notable interface fire alongside the Trans-Canada Highway in Valleyview.

The call for a fire near the Emterra Group location on Kelly Douglas Road came in at around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 2).

A plume of black smoke can be seen from across the city.
