Kamloops Mounties surround Batchelor Heights home

KAMLOOPS — There was a noticeable RCMP presence in Batchelor Heights this afternoon (Sept. 1), but details about the police operation are not yet known at this time.

According to CFJC crews on scene, Mounties appeared to have been surrounding a home in the 1000-block of Norview Road through the noon hour. It’s not clear what prompted police to descend on the property.

As observed from the street, two garage doors on the house sustained extensive damage, while the front door to the property also appeared to have been smashed in.
