CFJC Midday – UNMUTED: Spellingway Communication Society works to change the conversation around nonverbal autism, one voice at a time

Spellingway Communication Society is hosting a free information session aimed at shifting the focus around nonverbal autistic individuals. Sandra Verhoeff joins us to talk about what inspired her to start the society, and share the details of UNMUTED. The event will highlight spelling letterboards as a way of communication, challenge misconceptions and help create a greater understanding for those whose voices may be expressed in different ways.
