‘Coming for that starting position’: Goaltending competition underway at Blazers’ training camp
KAMLOOPS – Kaeden Tate of Huntington Beach, Calif., is 6-foot-4 and entering his 17-year-old season with lofty goals.
“Yeah, coming for that starting position, coming for Eddy’s spot,” Tate said with a smile.
Competition in the crease is a storyline for the Kamloops Blazers, whose on-ice training camp sessions got underway Friday [Aug. 28] at Sandman Centre.
